Cape Intern heeft een groot aanbod van verschillenden vacatures en stages. Wij geven Nederlandse en buitenlandse studenten graag de gelegenheid deze vacatures te gebruiken om zelf contact op te nemen met de bedrijven.
Het is voor ons erg moeilijk om de verschillende vacatures en stages in te delen naar opleiding, omdat dit van jouw opleiding en de opdracht afhangt. Wij hebben daarom geen onderscheid gemaakt tussen stages voor mbo, hbo en universiteit. De stages zijn ingedeeld volgens de verschillende categorieën (aan de rechterkant).

Requirement: | Interns receive an overall understanding of Backpackers operations and may have various duties including; Limited General Management (some supervision under guidance of owner / manager), Sales & Marketing, Reception & Front Desk (booking guests in and out of their rooms, online web bookings); Guest Relations (interact with guests, assist with general enquiries), Travel Desk and Support Services (booking tours and activities). Housekeeping Services and Control . This position is ideally suited to an “all rounder”. The intern must be a hard worker that is able to function independently and within a team, be able to communicate with guests and have a vibey and fun personality! |
Description: | Main duties would include, booking in and out guests, reception, booking tours and activities, interacting with guests, online bookings, marketing and day to day running of the Backpackers. Working Hours vary over weekdays and weekends and interns are expected to work an average of 45 hours a week. Due to the nature of the industry interns will work shifts and will be expected to wait on guests when working evening shifts. Interns can wear casual clothes whilst on duty. |
Other Information: | Cape Town is an awesome city with so much to see and do. Interns have 2 days off per week to experience all the wonderful things Cape Town has to offer. Obviouzly Armchair also has a pub for locals and travellers alike with a charm of its own. A great opportunity to meet locals. |
